Hemlock Grove Season 2 Premier

On July 11, I was invited to Los Angeles to the Hemlock Grove Season 2 Premier. It was the first premier I was invited to and I was quite excited. I had watched the show from day 1 as well as running a pretty amazing page for one of the main actors, Bill Skarsgård who plays Roman Godfrey.

Hemlock Grove also let us give out 40 pairs of tickets to random lucky page fans. That was one of the best parts, it was like giving away Christmas presents.

My friend and fellow page admin, Khelsey, rode with me from Vegas to LA. It was a fun 4 hour ride. The ride to LA from Vegas is always beautiful and I love going, alone or otherwise. Excitement built as we approached LA.

We met a couple people that are fans of our page and big Hemlock Grove supporters and had lunch with them at Jack In The Box, across from the Archlight Theater, where the premier was to be held.

The premier started at 7. There were a ton of people, which made me happy, seeing that Hemlock Grove is a smaller Netflix based series. Even though the director is the amazing Master of Horror, Eli Roth.

We got our free soda and popcorn and headed into the theater. We were greeted by #HemlockGrove on the big screen. This would be the first time I have ever seen a TV show, up on a theater screen.

A few guests had come in, saying they were getting pictures with the cast, including Bill, outside the room. At first, I didn't want to go out there and bother them (yes, I am weird like that) but my friends dragged me out and made me. Not that I complained. We were walking out as Bill was walking into the room and we asked him for pictures. He graciously accepted. My friend told him who I was/what page I ran and, thanks to the amazing Joel de la Fuente, he knew exactly who I was. I think I may have done somersaults on the inside. We got pictures, he made me crack up, we talked, I got an autograph and then we went back into the theater.

I had wandered up to the VIP section, where the cast and crew were to sit. Right as I was being told to "get out" so to speak, Mr. de la Fuente, AKA Dr. Johan Pryce, came up and told me I was "good" and I got pictures with him and Master Eli. Why I didn't get a picture with Medeline, AKA Miranda. I should have. she is also a sweetheart. Of course, they all were.

The first episode was amazing. It was wonderful seeing this amazing cast all on the big screen together.

After the episode ended, I tried to get a picture and autograph with Landon (he is in the same magazine issue of Hero as Bill) and Famke, but they were whisked off quickly. I did, however, get to talk to Joel more as well as get a picture with the with the beautiful Tiio Horn, AKA Destiny Rumancek.

After the premier was over we went to In N Out and then headed home to Vegas. After all was said and done, and I was finally home at 5am, it was the most amazing day of my life. After meeting the cast and seeing how wonderful they all are, I will forever support everything they do/are in, in the future.

Here's to an amazing Season 3!
