Over at my friends blog, The Angel Forever, she is celebrating her son's 3rd birthday. As I was reading her post and thinking of what themes I would want (pink polka dots comes to mind!) I was thinking about my kids themes through the years. I will have to edit this post with pics, but for now lets see if I can remember!

  2. Blues Clues
  3. Bob The Builder
  4. Spiderman
  5. Hot Wheels
  6. Hummer

  8. No real theme
  9. No real theme
  10. No real theme

  4. Strawberry Shortcake
  5. Princess

Happy Mother's day to me...not!

Posted by Becka 0 comments
So this morning, instead of sleeping in, I get to deal with screaming, fighting kids, while my dear husband got to sleep. Then he proceeds to find things to do around the house...that could have been done yesterday, while I have to again, deal with the kids. Yea, he made breakfast...but he likes to do that every weekend, so really, nothing special there.

The highlight of my day was looking at the presents my two older kids got me!!

The sweet thing is, my oldest, on Friday, called and asked for "extra money for lunch" and came home with these flowers! He is such a sneaky guy, and I LOVE him!! The framed thing is from my daughter from her class from the Mother's Day lunch on Thursday!

If you can't read it, it says:

This is Rebecca Marsch
She makes the best macaroni and cheese
She is good at reading
She has the most beautiful earrings
I love her because she puts me to bed a lot

LOL Yes, because I put her to bed a lot! That's my girl!

But what did my husband get me? What did he have the two make me or do for me? As my 3 year old says when asked what ZERO means...NOTHING! Not a thing! Yea he says "well I couldn't afford a card!" REALLY?! Even so, we have construction paper, a printer, we have glue, crayons, craft items...MAKE ONE FOR GODS SAKE! Heck pick me some flowers from the damn yard! ANYTHING!

Yea this is my typical Mother's Day...so I probably should just be use to it...and apparently avoid places like Facebook, where I see what the other awesome husbands are doing for their wives today!

Ok going to go find a book, and crawl in a hole now.

Happy Mother's Day...

Soccer time!

Posted by Becka 0 comments

So the kids started soccer today. I should have also taken pics of the 2.5 hours AFTER their games they had me outside kicking the ball around with their little brother lol. They  both had a great time.

This was the first of only 2 games where Nick and Michele will be playing at different times. So we went to Nick 's game at 9 which was 15 minutes away from Michele's game at a different field, at 10:30. But we made it! And I had a BLAST coaching Michele's team. SO glad I volunteered to do it this year!

They are both on Gold teams, which are both co-ed. I heard that co-ed was a great choice for Michele, and well, decided to have Nick on one too!!!

Nick decided to don his old Bethlehem Soccer Club shirt from 2005. That may just go to Wyatt so he can wear them to the games :)

Look how cute they are!

Nick still had not gotten all his gear by this game, since it was a last minute decision for him to play, but he had a great time!

His coach is wonderful...and his name is Chris! I guess I can't forget his name lol

I will have to get a picture of Michele playing next Saturday...until then, here is a pic of her practice from Wednesday!

She is the one with the ball!

I will just have to have one of the parents take a couple pics for me :)

It was a fun day! We went and got the rest of Nick's gear, plus soccer socks for Michele. Oh and a ball for each. We may have to go back and get a ball for Wyatt too, he seems VERY interested in playing! But alas, he will not be able to until NEXT spring season!
